Mental health is a key component of general health and well-being for all individuals. Mental health plays a significant role in each person’s ability to lead a fulfilling life. Covid-19 has impacted families, workplaces, and the community at large by amplifying the need to address gaps and inefficiencies in the existing healthcare system delivery of mental health and well-being services.

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is distinctive as the Capital of Australia and home to a multicultural population rich in a diversity of cultures and languages. While there are many in the territory and surrounding region who enjoy a high quality of life, mental health challenges can affect residents and visitors regardless of age, gender, culture, or socioeconomic status.

MindBodyT® is proud to be part of the Canberra and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) regional communities. This current research project explores the interconnection between allied health networks and the communities that comprise the ACT. You can contribute too!

  • Healthcare Providers

This survey seeks to hear from your professional experience and current industry practices to gain an increased understanding of the mental health and well-being services you provide and the areas in which services could be improved for the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) population.

  • ACT Community Residents

By sharing your knowledge and experiences, we aim to gain a fuller understanding of the needs of the ACT community and seek to improve mental health training programs for allied health professionals and the communities' access to mental health and well-being resources.

Thank-you!

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the healthcare providers, front-line personnel, community organizations, and student volunteers who continue to participate in our mental health research.
